Screen Australia has created a landmark report on children’s television production which provides the evidence to back a growing need for reform. After all, Australian kids are prowling a net without borders, absorbing stories from around the world, enchanted by scale and spectacle, but it turns out they still like their programs to be Australian.

The image on the cover of the report tells the story that Screen Australia and the Australian Children’s Television Foundation can’t allow themselves to say. Figaro looks at a document and is appalled. It contains the evidence of his own extinction.
