How do you engineer a major shift in approach to policy? Sooner or later, you have to announce it – and that was the main function of the Jobs Dollars Hearts and Minds day. The interesting ideas were slightly below the surface, but only slightly.

The Jobs Dollars Hearts Minds day-long conference curated by Screen Australia, wrangled by its chairperson Glen Boreham was dogged by amiable chaos as a variety of speakers circled the Canberra airport waiting for the fog to clear.
