Setting the date for SPAA is almost as complicated as finding the venue. Today, the Screen Producers’ Association of Australia was able to announce both.
SPAA has locked Monday, November 18 to Thursday, November 21 in its diary as the annual conference dates.
The location though not the city has moved. It will be in the Crown Conference Centre in Melbourne. Lost producers may wander accidentally into the nearby casino, but they won’t fall off the pier into the harbour. A term which has a special definition in Victoria, which is particularly unattractive.
