Australian cinematographer of Hungarian background Laszlo Baranyai is participating in a three day masterclass in Budapest next week. It is a pretty neat idea.

Laszlo Baranyai ACS HSC, trained in Hungary, has been working in the economical and sometimes squeakily low budget arena in Australia. Lajos Koltai ASC HSC, trained in Hungary, has been working in the higher budget arena of the US. Why not put them together for a free masterclass in Budapest, done thoroughly over three days, as Hungary may be in political trouble but has always had some wonderful filmmakers in the worst of times. They being Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, three invasions, one return to democracy and a threatened collapse into home grown fascism.
