With six awards, the night belonged to The Great Gatsby. But it wasn’t unbeatable – it was nominated for eight.

In a lovely gesture, the Cameron Creswell Award for Outstanding Contributin to Design went to Kim Carpenter AM, who is a puppeteer, does a lot with kids and created the Theatre of Image. He does already have a Helpmann Award, mind you.
