Image: Down Under.

First the bad news. Down Under made $26,000 this weekend, has taken $126,000, is on 25 screens, lost 41% this week and is making $1029/screen. The second highest return for the weekend came from Melbourne’s ACMI, signalling an attempt to create a more nimble ‘cinema of last resort’ image for an institution dominated by a wonderful sense of cinema history. So we guess, anyway.
