Box Office 5 October 2015 – the rushing sound of fascinated tots

A week which demonstrates that Australian films which touch the zeitgeist do fine. Interesting films that don't have a pretty dreadful time.

The Hairy Man’s Macbeth is well worth a squizz.

Oddball is at $8,123,068. In the four days from last Thursday to Sunday it added another $1,504,000, down four screens to 293, still on $5066/screen. That is an odd number to calculate because it won’t do well on the weekend, which is a straight reverse on mainstream pictures.
