Satellite Boy has released quietly, on a very modest release, which is pretty well as expected.
With ten cinemas, the release of Satellite boy last week was very tightly boutique. It took $32,695 in its first weekend, and $28,071 in its second.
However, the total so far is $133,393, so a lot of people saw it in previews. And it has run at the SFF, so the distributor, EOne/Hopscotch, took some returns there as well.
