Cuteness overload as Australian films go soft and cuddly. This comes from Oddball, and the pooch is a Maremma, a huge Italian working dog of independent disposition and a great urge to bark. It is about as useful in the city as a kelpie. 

From the very release of Red Dog, producer Nelson Woss refused to believe it was a flash in the pan. He wanted a three colours trilogy.
