The Babadook now has some pretty nice lines to put on the poster. Reviewers are picking up on the psychological complexities, and extraordinary performances from Essie Davis and Noah Wiseman. A comparison with Polanski is as good as it gets. .

With a wonderful trailer, we were on edge to see how well the full film did in its first Midnight Madness screening at the Sundance Film Festival. Sam Adams, in an Indiewire blog provides a commentary to die for, after saying that The Babadook and Frankie are turning a good Sundance into a great Sundance.
