Andrew Plain: dies in Sydney Hospital

Andrew Plain, the remarkable and much loved sound designer, sound editor and supervising sound editor, proprietor of Huzzah Sound, died in Sydney Hospital this morning. He was just sixty years old.

Andrew Plain, the remarkable and much loved sound designer, sound editor and supervising sound editor, proprietor of Huzzah Sound, died in Sydney Hospital this morning. He was just sixty years old.

Andrew Plain came to sound as a profession in 1984, just after he graduated in 1982 from the Film Theory Course at the University of Technology, Sydney, just over a decade after his psychology degree at Macquarie University.
