Transmission Films has secured the Australian rights to Le Weekend, written by Hanif Kureishi and starring Jim Broadbent, from Embankment. It has also taken the Princess Diana biopic Diana.
Transmission has Giuseppe Tornatore’s The Best Offer, starring Geoffrey Rush, Donald Sutherland and Jim Sturgess from uConnect.
Entertainment One has signed a multi-territory deal for Scorched Earth, the post-apocalyptic action thriller directed by Brad Turner and starring Sean Bean, picking up all rights to the film from VMI Worldwide.
