It is no surprise that John L. Simpson and Gil Scrine are both fascinated by distribution, exhibition and provoking their audiences. Simpson was an actor, Scrine is an activist, and they are both born show-offs.

Gil Scrine is an independent documentary distributor, who started Gil Scrine Films in 1993 with Dexion racks of blue plastic film cans, and now sells DVDs through Antidote Films and is building an online download and streaming venture, beamafilm.
