The Victorian State government has announced that it has successfully sustained both the Screen Forever conference and the Australian International Documentary Conference in the southern capital for the next few years.
Screen Forever has a base for the next three years, until 2019. The AIDC’s dates take it to 2020. According to Britt Arthur, about to step down as CEO / Conference Director at the AIDC, the triennial commitment and funding will bring some much-needed stability to the organisation. ‘We can foster a stronger program and have a longer term view about the program and the marketplace activity and be less hand to mouth and give our program more depth,’ she ​told ScreenHub.
