Chair Alan Finney, (aka Alan of the Silver Tongue) asked Noni Hazlehurst AM if she would like to join the AFI-AACTA board. Though the task is demanding and the decisions difficult, it only took one ask to sign her on.
Noni Hazlehurst has many obvious credentials for the task. She has been in the sector since the early 1980’s, is a distinguished performer in both television and film, has four AFI awards of her own, fronted and ran a factual television show for commercial television, and has been savvy in business.
