The ABC has appointed Quail TV’s Rick Kalowski as its new Head of Comedy. He replaces Debbie Lee, who resigned in December, 2012 to take up the role as Head of Scripted Development at independent production company Matchbox Pictures.
Kalowski will take up his position in the second half of 2013, with ABC Fiction continuing to manage the comedy slate until then.
Kalowski is currently Creative Director for Sydney / Los Angeles based Quail Television.
