WA Screen Academy’s class of 2010 is enjoying its first national achievement. Their short documentary Painful Bliss has been shortlisted for the 10th Annual Bondi Short Film Festival.

The acclaimed Australian festival selects only 14 films from over 200 nationwide submissions. In the past judges have included critic Margaret Pomeranz, actor Sam Worthington, and director Bruce Beresford. Last year, two Screen Academy films were selected; short film, The Bucks Party, and documentary, The Bubbleologist.
