Tamara Britza’s short film Blindspot won both the Best Tertiary Experimental and Best Tertiary Short Film at the Australian Teachers of Media glamorous awards ceremony at Red Bennies in Melbourne last week.

Tamara is a graduate of the Film and Video program in the School of Communications and Arts at Edith Cowan University. Another graduate of the School, Ben Young from the WA Screen Academy Masters program in Screen Studies had two nominations for Best Music Video and was awarded the prize for Animalia. Screen Academy graduate Lauren Cleary was nominated in the in the Best Tertiary Animation category for Spike and Harold which she made as her graduating project from the Film and Video program.
