The first prize of the 10th Kodak Marketing Award for an Australian Feature Film has gone to Greater Union Cinema, Newcastle for their promotion of Robert Connolly’s Three Dollars.

Judged by Garry Maddox, Film Writer with the Sydney Morning Herald, The Kodak Marketing Award for an Australian feature film honours the marketing expertise and efforts of the local cinema community. “Greater Union, Newcastle presented a smart and enthusiastic marketing campaign” comments Maddox. “They achieved remarkable box office figures for the duration of the film’s run, exceeding the box office figures of their closest rival by more than three times.”
