The Burning Season, a documentary by award winning Australian filmmaker, Cathy Henkel, will compete in the ‘World Documentary Feature Competition’ at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival.
Narrated by Hugh Jackman, THE BURNING SEASON is the only Australian documentary that will screen in competition at Tribeca and the only film about climate change. Despite the serious nature of the subject matter, THE BURNING SEASON is both positive and inspiring and has already been garnering local awards for Henkel and the team behind the film.
