Sydney Film School graduate Manuel R. Mota was invited to attend the 2013 Starz Denver Film Festival. Mota’s film titled ‘Authentic’ was shortlisted for the Liberty Global International Student Filmmaker Award. The film was written and directed during his studies at Sydney Film School.
‘Authentic’, Mota’s 2012 Advanced Thesis film, deals with sex addiction and how lack of intimacy can be reflected by lack of connection. Mota is just one of a growing number of Sydney Film School graduates now working in film and television industries, both in Australia and abroad.
