The 2007 Sydney Film Festival, to be held from 8 24 June, has provided an exciting glimpse of what is in store at this year’s event by revealing a number of new program strands as well as some films that will feature in the
festival.

Highlights from the curated program strands include a retrospective of the works of legendary Oscar-winning
filmmaker John Huston and new program sections focusing on Turkey, kids’ films and features by or about
people with disabilities, as well as strong documentary and world cinema sections.
