Sydney filmmaker Mick Elliott took out the major international short film prize at the Cortoons Film Festival held in Rome this week with his claymation short “RICHARD.”

The film was the winner of the “International 1 to 4 minute film” category, and was the only Australian film to collect a prize at the festival, which was dominated by entries from Europe.
