The 2007 St Kilda Festival will be back next February – brought to you by FOXTEL.

“The City of Port Phillip is thrilled to announce that FOXTEL has entered into a partnership to present the St Kilda Festival over the next four years,” says Port Phillip mayor, Janet Bolitho.
“You can’t stop the music – though for a while it looked like lack of funding just might mean the end of St Kilda Festival, after 26 years of attracting crowds of up to 400,000. This year, for the first time since 1980, the festival took a break while we sought to secure a sound basis for the festival’s long-term success. The City of Port Phillip is only a medium-sized local government and could just not continue being the festival’s major sponsor.
