SPAA would like to invite all industry professionals to a briefing on its proposal for a Producer Distributor Film Fund (PDFF).

The PDFF proposal was launched to Government in June 2010 with the purpose of offering a three-year interim additional support package to the film industry. This will help promote greater use of the Producer Offset and stimulate distribution for feature films with budgets between $7 and $30m. Films with these budgets arguably offer the best strategic opportunity for Australian producers to grow their businesses. This in turn will stimulate economic activity and employment growth in the broader industry.
