ScreenPlay is a monthly Melbourne event providing script readings for film writers. Supported by the AFC, sponsored by ACMI and Cinema Europa, it is now working with its first interstate writer. Now that people know, it won’t be the last.

After all, this is a national offer – a reading with name actors and a name director.

The writer is Rie Natalenko, who won the 2003 Australian Ztudio IF award for “best unproduced screenplay in Australia” for Heloise and the 2000 Austin gay and lesbian international film festival screenwriting award for Playing it Straight.
