In a ceremony other states would love to emulate, ScreenWest has been handed an actual cheque in public which represents a good deal of loverly lottery money. Sadly, everyone else depends on the largesse of treasury, rather than the human propensity for folly.

Key members of the Western Australian screen industry acknowledged Lotterywest’s support yesterday when Culture and Arts Minister Sheila McHale presented ScreenWest with a $4.16 million grant cheque from Lotterywest.
