Paolo Bertolin, selector for the prestigious Venice International Film Festival, will be in Sydney in June to view new Australian films for preselection, as well as to be a member of the Official Competition Jury at the Sydney Film Festival.

The Venice Film Festival (28 August – 7 September) will celebrate its 70th edition in 2013. It comprises:

an Official Competition of 20 feature films
an Out of Competition section for 12 features
Orizzonti, a competitive section for 20 feature films from newer filmmakers and short films of up to 20 minutes duration.
