The Russian Resurrection Film Festival tours the nation with some extraordinary films, pushing a tradition of fantasy which was not particularly trumpeted in the days of the Socialist Realist nomenklatura.

In 2008, the Russian Resurrection Film Festival, proudly presented by BHP Billiton will be presenting two Retrospectives, exploring two very diverse but exciting areas of Russian filmmaking: The works of Karen Shakhnazarov, and Russian Fantasia.
