A film about ” being”– Nascent, was presented with the Best Australian and New Zealand Dance film/video award on Sunday at this year’s Reeldance International Dance on Screen festival held at The Studio, Sydney Opera House. The festival continues to tour nationally.
Nascent, directed by Gina Czarnecki and choreographed by South Australia’s Australian Dance Theatre, skilfully integrates raw footage of improvised and choreographed performance with compositional techniques to produce a visually sensual film.
