The course director Kathy Mueller has broad experience in various dramatic mediums including theatre and television. Mueller was born in the USA but migrated to Australia in the early 70’s when she took up teaching at a high school in rural NSW. Stage and film were always a part of her teaching and she eventually moved to study Dramatic Arts and Film and Television at VCA. She received national acclaim for her short dramatized documentary, Every Day Every Night, and has extensive experience running workshops for actors, directors and writers. “The Director’s Translation from Script to Screen” is aimed at passing on her experience and knowledge using a combination of workshops.
