The National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) is pleased to announce Grant Scicluna, writer and director of Neon Skin (2008), is the winner of the inaugural NFSA Orlando Short Film Award for the best lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersex short Australian film.

The NFSA Orlando Short Film Award, which comprises a cash prize of $5,000, was presented by NFSA Chair Chris Puplick AM, at the Mardi Gras Film Festival’s ‘My Queer Career 2011’, the annual celebration of Australia’s best new queer short films, held on Thursday 24 February, Hoyts Entertainment Quarter, Fox Studios, Sydney.
