When emerging Queensland Filmmakers Joshua C Birch and Simon Taylor decided to develop a web series and enter it into the Movie Extra Web Fest Competition, they knew they had stiff competition. Now in second place from over 100 entries, they are in the finals and ready to show the rest of the country that Queensland is overflowing in indie film talent.

Determined to show the Movie Extra team what they are all about, they have already started a marketing campaign including a screening and networking evening November 30th at the Alibi Room in New Farm which will include guests from amongst the established filmmaking community.”We want to show them we mean business, and that we take filmmaking seriously, from production right through to selling the end product” says marketing focused Simon “the independent film industry is really starting to build momentum and we want to make sure we catch the wave”.
