The 57th Melbourne International Film Festival has announced today that a record number of Cannes titles will be screened at this year’s festival.
Straight from screening in Competition at Cannes comes;
Grand Prix winner, Gomorrah, a memoir of contemporary life under the mafia, based on Roberto Saviano’s book, who is currently under police protection, such is the impact the book has made in Italy and the on that country’s powers that be;
