The New South Wales Film and Television Office (FTO) is extending the development of new and emerging film writers in the state by collaborating with The Script Factory UK to provide an intensive two-week feature script development program next month.
The two-week program provides a solid foundation in script writing principles, including, in the first week, the study of four key genres. The second week will focus on the development of individual screenplays and includes writing a story outline and logline and working with script editors. Importantly, the workshop concludes with a session on industry networking and how individuals can best present themselves and their scripts to producers, directors and financiers.
