22nd August 2011 – The 2011 Freeplay Independent Games Festival finished up its five day run at the State Library of Victoria with the announcement of the 2011 winners.

Director of Freeplay, Paul Callaghan, said “The awards reflect both the values of the festival and the wide range of projects being created locally and overseas. We were incredibly impressed with the diversity, experimentation, vision, and creativity of all the entries, and look forward to seeing that continue in 2012.”
