Film Victoria has announced a commitment of $495,000 to three projects in its October round of Production Investment funding, including a new children’s TV series, John Safran’s latest look at religion, and a documentary about an Aussie rock legend.

CEO Sandra Sdraulig said the investment demonstrated Film Victoria’s ongoing commitment to innovative and engaging local television content. “The television sector in Victoria is thriving – in 2009/10 it was the largest contributor to Victorian production activity, with expenditure of $130 million,” Ms Sdraulig said.
