Australia’s export credit agency, Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (EFIC), has collaborated in the financing of the new Australian surfing drama, Drift, starring Sam Worthington, by providing a direct loan against the film’s international distribution pre-sale.
The film’s producers, Drift International Pty Ltd, having obtained public and private finance for the film, were seeking interim funding to cashflow rebates and presales.
