In 1929, the Hunter Valley was torn by a vicious industrial dispute. Now, local business is helping to fund the film.

Lockout Productions, a Hunter-based production company has taken the initiative in adopting a creative US-business model to raise funds for their documentary – Lockout. For producers, Greg Hall & Diane Michael, this has resulted in a major union with a number of influential Hunter businesses throwing their support behind the project.
