Decade Films is pleased to announce the addition of the feature film Mother of Rock to its development slate. Australian writer John Alsop (Leaving of Liverpool, RAN, My Place) will pen the screenplay inspired by Robert Milliken’s biography of Lillian Roxon, the trailblazing Australian rock journalist.
“We’re thrilled to have someone of John’s calibre working with us. His ability to write great women characters and his knowledge of music from the period make him a great choice for a project like this” said Ray Quint, principal of Decade Films.
