The 8th Byron Bay International Film Festival kicked off a packed opening weekend program with a standing ovation for the Opening Night film, When My Sorrow Died: The Legend Of Armen Ra & The Theremin.

Now Australia’s largest regional film festival, BBFF’s Red Carpet Gala Opening Night on Friday 28 February was flush with international filmmakers and local celebrities all dressed in their cocktail finery after the event completely sold out.
