Many APM projects have attracted noticeable global attention. This year, the Indonesian director Edwin appeared in competition at the 2012 Berlin Film Festival with his film Postcards from the Zoo, while YANG Yonghi’s Our Homeland received the C.I.C.A.E Award in Berlin. HUR Jin-ho’s Dangerous Liaisons was invited to the Directors’ Fortnight of the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. Recently, CHOI Dong-hoon’s The Thieves resulted in a big hit with the audience, and RYOO Seungwan’s soon-to-be-released Berlin is expected to create buzz. Numerous APM projects have been fully produced and acclaimed at international film festivals and by audiences.
