Last night Joost den Hartog, Director of the Australian International Documentary Conference announced Maya Newell as the recipient of the 2011 F4 Award For Outstanding New Documentary Talent. The Award was presented during the final night of the BigPond Adelaide Film Festival.,m/em>
Newell’s documentary TWO was chosen out of four films which had been selected as finalists for showing at F4. Around 80 entries had been received from emerging Australian documentary makers.
