The Australian Film Television and Radio School are expanding their Open Program short course offerings, and in an exciting move have appointed internationally regarded producer Martin Brown to the newly created position of Head of National Open Program, starting today.
Martin has had a rich and varied career spanning thirty years in the entertainment industry, from live theatre to feature films. Most notably he has worked extensively with Baz Luhrmann, firstly as art director on Strictly Ballroom, and then as a producer on William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge!, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture.
