The Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) will be showcased at one of the world’s most prestigious documentary festivals later this year.

Since 2004 IDFA has honored a film school with a record of excellence in documentary. The first year showcased work from the Polish national film school (graduates include Polanski, Kieslowski, Andrej Wajda). In 2005 it was Britain’s National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield (graduates include Kim Longinotto, Sean McAllister, Molly Dineen and Nick Broomfield).
