Internationally acclaimed Australian director, Fred Schepisi, will deliver the Keynote Address at the 2013 Australian Directors Guild Conference.
Schepisi, whose latest film Words & Pictures, starring Clive Owen, had its world premiere last week at the Toronto International Film Festival, is the award-winning director of films including the 2011 release The Eye of the Storm, Six Degrees of Separation (1993), Last Orders (2001), The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith (1978), Roxanne (1987), Evil Angels (1988) and mini-series Empire Falls (2005) for which he gained an Emmy nomination for best director and won a Golden Globe for Best Mini-Series.
