The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) today welcomes Russell Briggs as ACMI Head of Exhibitions.
Mr Briggs begins his appointment with ACMI after several years at Auckland War Memorial Museum, New Zealand, where he held the position of Director of Exhibitions and Programmes from 2010 to 2012. During this time he led acclaimed exhibitions such as AQUA and Outrageous Fortune and their touring exhibitions programs; both nationally and internationally. He joins ACMI after his most recent position as a Director of the War Memorial at the Museum.
