Now in its 5th year, the 2008 Movie Extra FilmInk Awards is the only red carpet affair in Australia to celebrate both International and Australian theatrical releases, toasting the best and worst of film and entertainment in the year that was. The Awards are ‘people’s choice’ which means that the general public interact by voting (20,000+ votes in 2006/7) for the hand picked categories such as Best Sort, Best Nude Scene, and Best Australian Film. The Movie Extra FilmInk Awards bring a perfect balance of movie-love and irreverence to the film industry and general public who love the glamour without the air kisses.
