ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Multimedia Designer to develop and deliver brand and promotional visual content across print, advertising (offline and digital), signage, eDMs, social media, and web platforms.
This role combines hands-on creative production with project leadership and team support, contributing directly to the Institute’s marketing and communication strategies.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Design and produce engaging brand and promotional content across print, advertising (offline and digital), signage, eDMs, social media, and web platforms.
- Conceptualise and execute creative solutions for promotional campaigns, advertising, and brand-aligned projects.
- Lead and manage multimedia (photography and videography) projects from concept through to completion — including filming, editing, and post-production.
- Ensure all design and multimedia outputs align with brand guidelines and meet strategic, quality, and compliance standards.
- Provide creative direction and mentorship to the Graphic Designer, offering technical support to help build individual and team capability.
- Liaise with internal clients and manage external suppliers to ensure high-quality project delivery within scope and budget.
- Contribute to the ongoing development, design, and optimisation of the Institute’s website in line with user experience, accessibility, and brand standards.
- Offer advice on current and emerging creative technologies (e.g. AI) and contribute to strategic decisions regarding multimedia infrastructure and tools.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL HAVE:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in multimedia and graphic design and/or demonstrated substantial industry experience in multimedia (photography & videography) and graphic design (print, advertising (offline and digital), signage, eDMs, social media, and web).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality multimedia and graphic design work aligned with brand guidelines.
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders internally and externally.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines across multiple projects, while maintaining quality and alignment with business objectives.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with working knowledge of digital content tools such as Canva, and a general understanding of HTML/CSS for web and email design. Familiarity with video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
