Are you a creative with a love for cinema? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Adelaide Film Festival is seeking a highly motivated Content Creator to join the team.
As the Content Creator, you will support the delivery of AFF’s festival marketing strategy through a mix of graphic design, copywriting, photo and video editing — in consultation with the Marketing Manager and creative agencies.
This role is suited to early-stage career candidates with a flair for creativity, social media, and an understanding of cinema.
Responsibilities:
- Creating high-quality communications content for use on social media, website, email newsletters, cinema screens and more.
- Working with creative agencies, freelance contractors and AFF staff on graphic design, copywriting, photo, video, audio, and animation.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of digital and social media channels.
- Assisting with the direct marketing program — contacting local audiences, filmmakers and organisations.
- Other responsibilities as outlined in the position description.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic Motion graphics experience (After Effects, Lottie) is desirable
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing or content creation, preferably in film, the arts, or the entertainment industry.
- Good project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills — written, verbal and digital.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their use in marketing
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends during the festival period.
